The two largest associations are the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA). In the NJCAA, of 530 member colleges, 65 sponsored a football program, as of February, 2018.. In the CCCAA, of 107 member colleges, 68 sponsored a football program, as of February, 2018.
